When did you get interested in modeling?

Leila Scott: When I was younger, I never thought of myself as a pretty girl and always wondered what it would feel like to just feel pretty, so as soon as I left high school, I did my first photo shoot and I fell in love with modeling right there and then.

What were the top goals that you wanted to accomplish in modeling when you first started out?

Leila Scott: When I first started out, I really wanted to become an FHM or Maxim model.

Do you prepare at all for a photo shoot? If so, what do you do?

Leila Scott: I do prepare, I’m a foodie, so before my shoots, I completely cut out carbs and sugars, and I increase my fitness.

What’s it like being a part of an iconic magazine such as Playboy?

Leila Scott: Wow. It is so surreal! I absolutely love being a part of this iconic brand. I’ve always loved Playboy, but never dreamed that becoming a playmate would be part of my reality. My very first nude shoot was featured in Playboy, and I’m so appreciative to Danny Steyn (the photographer) for opening my eyes to these amazing possibilities.

Are there any companies/publications that you haven’t worked with yet but would like to?

Leila Scott: I’d love to work with Maxim. I’ve been featured on their website, but I’d love to be a cover girl.

What’s the biggest misconception about you?

Leila Scott: Hmm, that’s a tricky question. I think the biggest misconception about me is people thinking I’m very conservative because of my conservative upbringing, but I’m actually extremely open-minded.

What motivates you to get out of bed every morning?

Leila Scott: That money ain’t gonna make itself!

How important is social media to you and your career?

Leila Scott: Social media is very important. It can really make or break you.

If you could get a message out to millions or billions, what would it be about and why?

Leila Scott: I feel most empowered when I do nude photo shoots. I would love to tell people that nudity is not wrong, nudity is just the human form in its purest form!

What can people expect to see from you in the future?

Leila Scott: More sexy photo shoots, I’m planning to launch my website soon, where you can see all my fun shoots that’s not social media friendly, find some awesome signed collectible goodies. I have a lot up my sleeve that I can’t yet release but keep your eyes locked. I have a few surprises coming up.
