What got you interested in modeling?

Angel Nicolet: What got me interested in modeling was probably all the fun you could have with creating art. When I was younger, I saw the most beautiful women having fun while creating art and beauty. After that, I said that’s what I’ll be doing one day!

Did you know what type of model and the type of photo shoots that you wanted to do when you first started, or were you more spontaneous?

Angel Nicolet: I had no idea about anything. My very first photoshoot ever was a lingerie shoot during Christmas. So that was super sexy. I know I love modeling in lingerie and bikini, but I’ll make any outfit work. I’d love to learn more about fashion modeling and step into that world, but my dream is to be a Sports Illustrated model!

What were your early experiences like when you first began to model?

Angel Nicolet: Filled with anxiety and a bunch of nerves. It took a lot for me to be comfortable with myself and in front of the camera. To learn and love all my angles. Not to mention, how to learn and trust the right type of photographers.

Do you brainstorm ideas often pertaining to your modeling career?

Angel Nicolet: This is something I am trying to get better at. Usually, the photographer or I will have an image or look in mind, but for the most part I free ball it.

What are some things that you want to accomplish with your modeling in the next few years?

Angel Nicolet: I’d love to shoot for Sports Illustrated, you know. . . any models dream of course! I’d like to walk in a fashion show in Miami Swim Week and get booked with one of the top modeling agencies so that I can truly grow my modeling career.

What does a typical day look like for you?

Angel Nicolet: In a typical day I always try to get in a workout session, some manifesting and journaling then I jump into my career with Solar Sales and run appoitments. If I have a modeling or acting gig booked, I just simply take off from my day job and get those gigs taken care of.

Besides modeling, what do you enjoy doing?

Angel Nicolet: Destressing and having a cocktail. I also enjoy working out, doing some acting gigs, and just simply hanging out with my friends and family. Believe it or not, I love my alone time. I really enjoy treating myself to solo lunches and dinners while working on my writing.

How have you grown as a model since you first started, and what makes you stand out from other models?

Angel Nicolet: I absolutely have grown since I first started. I learned to become way more confident in front of people and the camera. I also learned which angles and poses look best. What probably sets me apart from other models is of course, being a ginger, and that I just tell myself to always have fun with it. I don’t know what all other models do, but I tend to not take it so seriously. I let my personality shine through.

What’s the biggest misconception about you, and in your opinion, what’s the biggest misconception about modeling in today’s world?

Angel Nicolet: The biggest misconception about myself would be that I am a crazy red head, when clearly in reality I’m not. I’m a natural blonde, so then people would just assume I was ditzy. However, I may be ditzy at times, but I’m also a very bright girl. In the modeling world, I believe a big misconception would be the judgement on models. Whether it be too slutty, too fake, too out there, etc. Models can be whoever they want with any role they want to play. That’s why we are models, to show all the different fun sides of ourselves.

Out of everything that you’ve accomplished so far, what are you the proudest of and why?

Angel Nicolet: I have accomplished some great things in my life, but I would have to say that I am the proudest of how far I have come in life. I’ve gotten over so many of my fears and doubts that were holding me back and truly learned to let go and trust the process. To gain more faith and confidence in myself and to just always push forward. I’ve come a long way from where I started, and that’s what I am most proud of.

What would be your message to people that are just now discovering you and what can they expect to see from you in the future?

Angel Nicolet: My message would be that, “You haven’t seen nothing yet.” I have faith that my modeling career will take off in extraordinary ways. I am currently working on writing a movie. My dream is to be a screen writer so hopefully that is what people can expect from me sometime in the future.

Keep up with Angel 24/7
